We're not playing any shows until August sometime while we focus on the new tunage. We'll blow the dust off of the 'ol booking machine and start her up again soon. Promise. We're working on getting some live tour footage online as well as some acoustic tracks we tracked while touring through North Carolina. Oh yeah, and we're thinking of doing a weirdo remix of a track from The Hollow Men but haven't decided which one to do yet. We'll prolly set something up online so you can vote for your favorite. We've never been good decision makers, truth be told... 1.14.04 - The tour has begun!!! Rubikon finally got their fucking van back, too. 1.27.04 - Tour journal updated, album being mastered today, van is being repaired as we speak, new tunes being worked on. 1.19.04 - Tour journal updated, shows updated, links and gear pages up... 1.11.04 - Van totaled, tour journal updated. 1.2.04 - New Rubikon v4.0 site posted. Let the band know what you think on the chat page. 12.12.03 - Rubikon is currently tracking bass guitars and vocals at The Cutting Room in NYC. Drums were finished last Saturday and the guitars were finished on Wednesday night. Yonze had the pleasure of using Mike Mushok's (from Staind) baritone guitar to thicken the sound up, and the results are unbelievable so far. 11.26.03 - Rubikon is going back into the studio to record
in December and unfortunately that means they have to cancel the remainder
of their shows this year. New Rubikon site will be going up in a matter
of days at this point...stay tuned. |
